Running time: approx. 1.5 hours
Sounds and noises shimmer, interweave, flash up and drift away again, coalescing into distinct, concrete pieces. The clarinet is stranger and companion at once: at times it ensnares the CAMERATA BERN strings with a song, only to vanish again; at other times it dances devilishly with the ensemble, then lingers within the collective sound, before retreating once more into the shadows. Layers of aural mist envelop everything like a hesitant memory. Breaths, footsteps, drops of water from the Insgeheim sound archive -- created specially for this project -- leave behind shadowy traces.
"Insgeheim" resembles a spaceship in slow motion: music, memory, light and sound merge, flow into one another, and for a moment, what is hidden seems tangible – only to vanish again at once.
