With “Ohrkan,” CAMERATA BERN offers a wide-ranging program for the whole family to experience the string ensemble up close.

Ensemble harpsichordist Vital Julian Frey leads us through the concert as host, involving his colleagues and not least the youngest listeners, with a focus on the sensory experience of music.

A central question, too, is how the musicians communicate with each other: A unique feature of CAMERATA BERN is that the ensemble performs with no conductor. This is possible because all the musicians listen carefully to each other and breathe together. Here, they also invite you to join in.
